"Live looping is the recording and playback of looped audio samples in real-time, using either hardware (magnetic tape, dedicated hardware devices) or software. It is a process with numerous sonic directions, open to instrument textures, improvisation and composition techniques."
~Wikipedia definition of live-looping
I use multiple instruments on stage to create musical compositions on the fly. You will kind keyboards, synths, guitars, and percussion at my shows, all being played seemingly at the same time. While my songs with lyrics are pre-written, any instrumental jams you hear at my shows are made up on the spot, with only seconds to think about the direction I want to take the music. This is a liberating musical experience that keeps me on my toes and always trying new things.
The show, and the music, are always evolving. The amount of instruments, gear, and lights I can cram onto a stage will never stop expanding.
